I loved going to the library and I still remember the Field Day events: the "fishing pond" (someone behind a cardboard wall, attaching prizes to the clothespin at the end of the child's fishing line), cake walk, and the tractor ride with a real tractor pulling a wagon full of straw!
Thank you Floral Avenue Elementary for a wonderful start to my education!
I went to this school 2nd - 5th grade. I had some of the best teachers there who taught me how to succeed anything I put my mind to.
Great staff who really care about the health and education of all students!
Greetings to Paul and Dana Fiedler, Steve Landon, Bruce Butler, and Won Sub Kim, and Mona (if any of you ever see this - you're not forgotten!).
I had Ms Hamer for 3rd grade in a portable building that we were told was 'temporary' but I see it lasted about 45 years.
I lovI went here for 4-5 grade and I love the staff and teachers they are super nice and caring to the students!
Last year one of my friends found mechanical pencil lead in his cheeseburger and have seen alot of people getting bullied
I attended between April 1964 and May 1966. Ms Hunter and Ms Weaver were my teachers for 1st and 2nd grade and I could not have asked for better teachers. Ms Hunter was beautiful to my first grader eyes and, while I found Ms Weaver a little intimidating, I was very happy to be in her class because I learned a lot.
